[PRESS RELEASE] YOUTH GROUPS LAUNCH EDUCATION PROJECT FOR MANGYAN CHILDREN

The BTMC is a literacy project that aims to increase the basic and functional literacy of Mangyan children. BTMC will hold its first outreach activity this May which will include games, story-telling, gift giving for Mangyan families and a feeding activity. The project intends to provide educational materials and supplies that will aid the children’s informal learning. The program will be facilitated by SKC leaders, Rotaract volunteers, and the tribal elders.
