[SIKLAB] 2nd Youth Leaders’ Advocacy Sharing Conference

#SIKLAB is Sigaw ng Kabataan Coalition’s regular conference with member organizations, prospect members, and partners. It also serves as a platform for advocacy sharing, networking, and partnership among members to deliver better service projects for our fellow youth.

The 2nd Conference was held at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City. It was attended by Sigaw ng Kabataan Coalition National Support Team (NST) Members; Scott James Choa, Reggie Pasaol, Jenelyn Pagarao, and Jaydie Salamat. Representatives of the following organizations were also present: the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP), Damayan ng Maralitang Pilipino (DAMPA)- Youth, Fairview Youth Movement (FYM), Children Protection and Youth Empowerment (CYE), New Era Political Science Society(NEPSS), Past officer of Malabon University Supreme Student Council, Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE)- Students’ Chapter, Youth on the Move (YM), North Caloocan Youth Organization (NCYO), MMDA Emergency Rescue Volunteer Corps, Hugpong Federal Movement, Scholarship and Youth Development Program- QCPU Batasan Chapter, Red Cross Youth, Joshua Generation Organization, Rotaract Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City, Rotaract Club of Bagong Silangan, Quezon City,  and SAMAFA.

SIKLAB also includes a consultation process aimed at gathering inputs for the development of SKC plan of actions for 2017.

Some of the activities that the conference has identified are the following: Outreach Activities, Street Plays, Youth Summit and Conferences on Leadership, Climate Change, Environmental Protection, Federalism, Youth Engagement, and Sustainable Development Goals.
